JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school restling, Coldwater went 1-1 in Interstate 8 Conference action Wednesday night, defeating Hastings 45-24 but losing to Jackson Northwest 36-39.

Also on the night Carter Hoard earned his 100th victory via pin versus Jackson Northwest.
The Cardinals are 20-7 overall and 4-2 in the Interstate 8.
Bronson defeated Quincy 78-6 and Jonesville 60-24. The highlight of the night for the Vikings Brendan Withington earning his 100th victory at 130 pounds. He was one of nine Vikings who won both of their matches. The others were Issac Tappenden, Ruger Ranney, J.C. DePaz, Justin Blankenship, Alex Tyer, Preston Wronikowski, Blake Platter and Ben Modert. Gerl Pish got the only points for Quincy in their match with Bronson.
Union City came up short against a tough Jonesville squad 46-31. The Chargers rebounded to defeat Quincy 54-18.
