COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – To raise awareness among local women that heart disease is their top health threat and to celebrate American Heart Health Month during February, the staff at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital will be participating in the National Wear Red Day February 1, 2019.
National Wear Red Day is a day when Americans nationwide wear red to show their support for women’s heart disease awareness.
ProMedica employees will be wearing red clothing on that day.
National Wear Red Day is a great opportunity to reach out to women in our community and alert them to their personal risk factors. Heart disease affects one in three female adults and continues to be the leading cause of death in women.
