OVID TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A public hearing has been scheduled for the February 5 Ovid Township Planning Commission meeting concerning a special land use permit for a proposed solar panel farm.
The property is located at 540 South Angola Road and is owned by Thomas Porter.
According to a public notice of the hearing that was published in Monday’s Daily Reporter, the solar panel farm will cover about 20 acres of agricultural land.
The meeting at the Ovid Township Hall on February 5 starts at 7:00 p.m.
