COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities says Levi Carr and Sean Guzy have been hired as electrical Apprentice Lineman to fill a couple of vacancies.
Carr is originally from the Marshall area and has recently been employed by the City of Niles. His first day was last Monday.
Guzy is a Coldwater native who has spent the last four years working for Mishawaka Utilities in Mishawaka, Indiana. His first day with CBPU was Monday.
Meanwhile, Art Plato will be leaving the CBPU after 20 years of service as a contractor and employee effective February 1, 2019.
The CBPU says he has been instrumental in bringing the Coldwater community into the internet age and providing citizens with stable and reliable service for the last two decades. He is making a career change and will be looking to relocate to Texas to be closer to family.
