GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WTVB) – In high school gymnastics, Coldwater got a spot on the podium Saturday afternoon with a third place finish on Saturday at the Kenowa Hills Invitational. It was the first time the Cardinals have brought home hardware since they started attending the meet in 2011.
Coldwater recorded a team score of 134.875. The B team from Coldwater had a score of 115 points which was good enough for tenth place.
Coldwater’s Leah Goodwin finished third in the all around with a score of 34.725. She won the vault and was second in balance beam and floor exercise, Abby Travelbee was second in uneven bars while Layla Schoch was third.
