COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The bad weather and driving conditions this week forced the cancellation of Monday’s Coldwater City Council meeting, as well the Tuesday morning meeting of the Downtown Development Authority Board.
The meeting cancellations prevented City Manager Keith Baker from making a presentation on the future of the downtown Four Corners Park.
He said in an interview on WTVB this week that they were looking at all four parks being renovated. Baker said the city wants to renovate essentially the hardscapes and the landscapes of all four corners. They would then fund raise for some of the amenities.
An advisory committee made up of community members have been meeting for the last couple of years and Baker feels they have a great design.
Baker hopes to make his presentation to the City Council February 11, 2019.
