COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Following an investigation by Coldwater Police, Quincy Police and the Michigan State Police, a suspect has been arrested on a pair of charges in connection with vandalism incidents involving a BB gun.
44-year-old Ricky Cox of Quincy was arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Branch County District Court on charges of malicious destruction of a building and malicious destruction of personal property between $1,000 and $20,000.
Bond has been set at a total of $100,000. His probable cause hearing was scheduled for next Thursday with a preliminary exam February 19, 2019.
City Glass of Coldwater said on their Facebook page a couple of weeks ago that they have had to make $25,000 worth of repairs in connection with the vandalism incidents.
Coldwater Police says additional investigations are still being completed and will be submitted to the Branch County Prosecutor’s Office once they are done.
