COLON, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school basketball, the Union City Chargers got their second victory of the season as they defeated Colon 47-29. Logan Allen led the Chargers with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Hope Austin added 15 points.
===MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL===
The Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th grade girls basketball team defeated Pennfield for their first win of the season. The score was not provided. Brooklyn Kerry led Legg with 15 points.
The Legg 7th grade A team defeated Pennfield 35-19. Legg was led by Mackenzie Scheid with 13 points and three blocks. Emma Porter added eight points and two assists. The 7th grade “white” team lost to Pennfield 27-21.
