COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After an inch or two of new snow Sunday across Branch County, a range of precipitation types will impact the area through Wednesday morning.
A wintry mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain will develop this evening, eventually changing over to all rain into south-central Michigan by later Tuesday morning.
Roads will likely ice up for a time, where Winter Weather Advisories have been posted from 8:00 p.m. Monday until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday for Branch County. Rain showers will then change over to snow showers and very windy conditions by Tuesday night.
Light snow accumulation and plummeting temperatures could make for a slick morning commute Wednesday.
