Earmal “Worm” Moore, 77 of Bronson passed away Friday,
February 8, 2019 at Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital while surrounded by
his family.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday,
February 11, 2019 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Carl Ritchie
of the Community Baptist Church of Wolcottville officiating. Visitation will be
prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Trayer
Cemetery.
Earmal was born July 8, 1941 to Simon and Arizona
(Collins) Moore in Price, KY. He was a hardworking man, spending 28 years at
Gruman-Olson in Sturgis. On July 21, 1967 he married the love of his life,
Sandra Smallwood in Howe, IN. Worm was a man of faith and a long-time member of
the Community Baptist Church of Wolcottville.
Worm was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and
fishing. He was a skilled woodworker. Worm had a lawn mower repair business
that he ran, having many customers rely on him for a quick fix on all types of
mowers. He will be remembered for his patient and easy going manner, while
being caring and helpful to anyone. Worm never met a stranger and went out of
his way to visit many in the community.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandy
Moore; his daughter Kimberly Moore of Sturgis; his sisters Brenda (Granville)
Messer of Hudson and Charlene Malone of Coldwater; his brother Desmorris
(Alison) Moore of Topeka, IN; his grandson Bryan Burnau of Sturgis; his great
niece Brooklynn Trine; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many brother
& sister-in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Lenney
David Moore; his granddaughter Airiel Burnau; his brothers Nathanial, Daniel,
and Vernus Moore; and his brother-in-law Hughie Smallwood.
