MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 65-year-old Marshall man was killed in a rollover accident that the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says apparently happened sometime during the night before it was discovered Saturday morning.
The accident was reported at about 9:30 a.m. in the 16000 block of Division Drive in Marshall Township.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene. His name has not been released.
The Sheriff’s Department says it appears the vehicle went off the road, struck a drainage ditch culvert and then rolled over twice before landing on its top.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt.
A further investigation into the crash will be conducted by the Calhoun County Accident Reconstruction Team along with the Medical Examiner’s Office in Kalamazoo. No foul play is suspected.
