COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After quiet weather today, another wintry mix is expected late tonight into Wednesday across southern lower Michigan and northern Indiana, including Branch County.
According to National Weather Service forecasters, snow will spread from south to north between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, then change to freezing rain everywhere by 6:00 a.m.-7:00 a.m.. It will then changeover to rain from southwest to northeast between 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The NWS says a light glaze of ice is possible everywhere. 1-3” of snow is expected in northern Indiana, with lighter snow inthe Branch County area. A Winter Weather Advisory is already effect. for several counties in Indiana.
