COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – While Branch County is not expected to be hit as hard as some parts of Michigan, National Weather Service forecasters says light snow will spread north through the early morning Wednesday, becoming freezing rain between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and then transitioning to rain from southwest to northeast from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
1-2” of snow is expected for most areas, with a light glaze of freezing rain. Expect hazardous conditions during the morning commute with slick roads and reduced visibilities.
