COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In high school bowling, Coldwater split their final Interstate 8 Conference match of the season with Jackson Northwest Wednesday night at Midway Lanes.
The Coldwater boys had to settle for a tie with Northwest for the conference title as they were beaten by the Mounties 20-10. Senior captain Alec Keplinger had games of 257 and 237 for a series of 494, Senior Tyler Scherer had a 203. Kai Kinsey also had a 203.
Coldwater won the girls match 17-13 as two seniors competed in their final home meet. Tiffanie Corwin rolled a 186 and Hannah Furney had a 167. Noella Keplinger led the girls with a 193.
Coldwater will be competing at the M.H.S.A.A. Regional Tournament this Friday and Saturday in Kalamazoo.
