COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 66th Annual Community Awards Ceremony and Dinner Thursday, March 7 at the Dearth Community Center starting at 6:00 p.m..
Chamber Executive Director Cayden Sparks says the event will mark the official passing of the gavel from former board chair Quinn White of Southern Michigan Bank and Trust to incoming chair Paul Plant of Taylor, Plant, and Watkins.
Once again, awards will be given to the Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Educator of the Year, Outstanding Organization or Community Program, and Outstanding Public Service or Professional.
The awards honor businesses and community leaders with exemplary commitment to the region’s economic development and quality of life. Over 300 persons normally attend making it one of the premiere gatherings in the area every year.
