NEWTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A young man was killed in a Calhoun County accident Monday morning that apparently took place several hours before it was discovered by a passerby.
Michigan State Police at the Marshall Post say they were called just before 9:00 a.m. to H Drive South near Six Mile Road.
The fatal victim was identified as 19-year-old Ty Fuller, who lived near the accident scene. He was found dead by first responders.
Troopers say it appears speed was a factor as Fuller’s vehicle went off the road and struck several trees before it came to rest on its roof.
The accident remains under investigation.
