COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was arraigned Saturday in Branch County District Court on three counts of motor vehicle theft.
38-year-old Andrew Hamlin was arrested nearly two weeks ago in Indianapolis. He had been sought by Coldwater Police and felony warrants were issued for his arrest after police got numerous stolen vehicle complaints.
Hamlin is being held in the Branch County Jail on a total bond of $75,000.
Coldwater Police said at the time Hamlin was captured that they had gotten an overwhelming response from citizens after the department issued a wanted poster of the suspect on social media and in local media outlets.
