STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – After winnng their second straight district title Friday night, the Coldwater High School boys basketball team advanced to the regional round this week of the Michigan High School Athletic Association tournament, while the post season for girls teams around the state begins this week.
The Coldwater Lady Cardinals, after finishing the regular seaso at 19-1, have a first round bye in the Division One District hosted by Sturgis.

The MHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament resumes on Tuesday with regional semifinals. The Coldwater Cardinals will face Okemos in the Division One Regional in Holt at 5:30 p.m. while the Union City Chargers will take on Cassopolis Tuesday night at 7:45 p.m. in the second game of a Division Three Regional Semifinal twinbill at Watervliet.
