COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Branch County District Court preliminary examination took place Thursday afternoon on ten counts filed against a Quincy man who has been charged in connection with BB gun incidents in Coldwater and Quincy.
Over a dozen charges have been filed by the Branch County Prosecutor’s office against 44-year-old Ricky Dale Cox II.
The charges include six counts of malicious destruction of property as well as three counts of receiving and concealing stolen property and two counts of second degree home invasion.
Thursday’s hearing is to determine if there the prosecution has met their burden of proof in order to have the cases bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
Cox was arrested following an investigation by police in Coldwater and Quincy as well as the Michigan State Police.
