COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater has received nearly $194,000 in federal Fire Assistance Program grant funds for over two dozen new self-contained breathing apparatus. City Manager Keith Baker told the Coldwater City Council Monday night that delivery of the new SCBA’s is expected by the end of the month.
The grant funds will cover the purchase of 28 SCBA’s, 33 masks, 56 bottles and other miscellaneous pieces of equipment.
Baker also announced Monday that Legg Lumber has donated materials to the City that will be used to build confined space entry training props for the Coldwater Fire Department.
