COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Corrections is back in the recruitment business.
In an effort to hire more corrections officers, the department is hosting free seminars to provide what they say is insider information to aid in applying for a job with the State of Michigan. MDOC officials say the purpose of the sessions is not just about how to apply, but will provide answers to frequently asked questions, what is looked at when you submit an application, and the details of what to include in your resume.
The events will be held at Michigan Works! Southwest at 210 Vista Drive in Coldwater Monday, March 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.and Wednesday, March 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
