COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A face to face meeting between the Branch County Board of Commissioners and representatives of the Carmi Design Group of Edwardsburg in December 2018 has apparently done little to find a permanent solution to the ongoing problems with the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning at the Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater.
Commissioners voted during their Tuesday work session to bring forward to this Friday’s meeting formal action on a letter that will be sent to Carmi.
Commission on Aging Executive Director Amy Duff says it details items that still need to be worked on and promises that have not been fulfilled.
Duff said one of the biggest concerns is a lack of communication with Carmi owner Tony Leininger and consultant Brad White in recent months.
The letter concludes by asking that information be submitted to County Administrator Bud Norman in time for the Commissioner’s next meeting in April.
