COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- The Coldwater Community School Board of Trustees were told by supporters of the Coldwater bands Monday night they need better materials to work with.
Senior Drum Major Amelia Gerth said there’s a lot of frustration right now with wobbling chairs and music stands that come crashing down which in turns causes the music to fall on the floor.
Matt Galliers, whose daughter plays in the high school band, also said band members don’t have the proper equipment.
Band Boosters Treasurer Renee White pointed out they have had great community support. She asked the board if at some point they could be considered to be in the school budget “for the band kids” sooner rather than later.
