COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It looks like spring weather has taken hold in Branch County.
The temperature reached a high of 67 degrees at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the Branch County Memorial Airport.
Thursday’s weather was a pleasant surprise because the forecast was calling for showers and highs in the mid 50’s.
It was the warmest day in Coldwater since October 10, 2018 when the high on that day was 74 degrees.
But Michigan’s weather can be very fickle this time of year.
Temperatures are expected to dive into the low 20’s Saturday night with the possibility of snow showers.
After a chilly weekend, highs are expected to get back into the 50s by Tuesday.
