COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Free Boater Safety Classes will be offered once again this year thanks to the Branch County Sheriff’s Department, the Marble Chain of Lakes Improvement Association and the Coldwater Lake Association.
Classes will be held at the Coldwater Lake Association building on Warren Road on May 18, June 8, and June 22, 2018.
They are also scheduled to be held at the Waffle Farm Campground May 11 and at Sunset Cove May 11 and June 15.
The classes will teach lake and water safety. Depending on your age, the class is required to obtain a boater’s safety card to operate boats and personal water crafts on Michigan lakes.
