COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After a week of inactivity because of spring break, Branch County spring high school sports will resume Saturday.
After returning from their annual Spring Break trrip to Florida, Coldwater’s varsity baseball team will be hosting the Southern Michigan Bank and Trust Invitational at Lowe and Borden Fields. The six team tournament will start at 9:00 a.m.
Coldwater will play in the first game at Lowe Field against Coloma. The Cardinals will take on Traverse City West at 2:00 p.m..
The championship game will be played at Lowe Field starting at 7:00 p.m..
Meanwhile, the Coldwater junior varsity baseball team will play a doubleheader at Fremont, Indiana Saturday.
Also in varsity baseball, Bronson will travel to Berrien Springs.
