UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Riverview Park in Union City will now be open year round following a recent decision by the Union City Park Board.
It was previously closed between November and May. The village posted the news on its Facebook page over the weekend.
The park is owned and operated by the village and has become a favorite gathering spot in the community in recent years.
Back in 2012, Riverview Park Board President Tom Lowande spearheaded an effort involving several area citizens and businesses called “take back the park”.
