COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council will be asked to adopt a resolution Monday night regarding the Allen Avenue Reconstruction Project.
The City recently got a Michigan Department of Transportation state transportation economic development fund grant of over $169,000 for the project which will support 62 new jobs at Envirolite and Sekisui Voltek.
The City of Coldwater plans to resurface the road which is in poor condition. New gravel shoulders will be added and drainage improvements will also be made.
The resolution to be acted on Monday night calls for the city to enter into a nearly $45,000 professional service agreement with C2AE Engineers of Lansing who will design the Allen Avenue reconstruction.
