MICHIGAN CENTER, MI (WTVB) – In high school baseball Monday, Bronson split a non-conference doubleheader at Michigan Center. The Vikings lost the opener 11-8 but came back to win the nightcap 10-5.
Kameron Haviland homered and drove in three runs in the first game while Gavin Preston drove in two. Blaine Robinson was the winning pitcher in the second game. Hudson Wotta had two doubles and two RBI’s.
Brett Sikorski scored twice, which broke the school record for most career runs with 131. He also recorded his 200th strikeout on mound.
With the split, Bronson’s record is 7-7.

Michigan Center 8, Bronson 4 (2nd game)
Dakota Smith had two hits including a triple in the second game. The two losses dropped Bronson’s record to 5-4.
Clinton 11, Quincy 1 (1st game)
Clinton 8, Quincy 6 (2nd game)
Quincy dropped both ends of a doubleheader at Clinton by scores of 11-1 and 8-6. Mick Signor and Hayley Wineland both had two RBI’s in the nightcap.
