BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School varsity boys golf team played in two events Thursday, first traveling the the Bedford Valley Golf Course to play in the Tom Collins Invitational hosted by Gull Lake and then going to an Interstate 8 Conference Jamboree hosted by Pennfield at the Riverside Golf Course.
Coldwater finished eighth out of 14 teams at the Tom Collins Invitational. Leading the way for Coldwater was Alec Keplinger who shot a 79. Kyle Herman carded an 81, Grey Skudlarick shot a 90, Noah Waterbury had a 95 and Kai Kinsey rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 96. Kyle Sheppard played as an individual and shot a score of 91.
At the Interstate 8 Conference Jamboree, Coldwater came in fifth with a team score of 171. Coldwater was led by Alec Keplinger’s 40 for the event.
