FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A man from Kansas City escaped serious injuries in a Hillsdale County rollover accident Saturday morning, but was later arrested for operating while intoxicated.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 32-year-old Daniel David Stone tried to avoid hitting an animal that had entered North Adams Road near Half Moon Lake Road at about 4:40 a.m..
His vehicle went out of control and wound up in a nearby yard where it overturned and came to rest on its top against a parked pickup truck in the driveway.
The Michigan State Police, the Reading Emergency Unit and Jonesville firefighters assisted the Sheriff’s Department at the accident scene.
