QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The National Weather Service has extended a Urban and Small Stream Flood advisory until 1100 p.m. Wednesday night for portions of northeast Indiana and southern Michigan.
Included in the advisory area are northern Steuben County, southeastern Branch County and central Hillsdale County.
Forecasters say radar estimates and spotter reports indicated that between one and three inches of rain fell across the advisory area from Tuesday into early Wednesday morning with locally higher amounts of around four inches.
Runoff from this heavy rainfall will continue to result in some flooding into Wednesday night.
Flooding near rivers and small streams will continue. Additional rainfall Wednesday is expected to be less than one quarter of an inch.
