ALLEN, MI (WTVB) – The suspected arson of a house and two other buildings south of Allen is under investigation.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says their deputies were called to the 7000 block of West Hallett Road Thursday night at about 9:35 p.m..
It was reported that in addition to the house, two other unattached buildings also had fires set.
Further details about the fires were not released.
The Hillsdale Daily News reports that a man who lived in the home was arrested on a Friend of the Court warranrt and that a preliminary report was expected to be turned in Friday to the Hillsdale County Prosecutor’s Office.
Deputies were assisted by the Michigan State Police, Reading Police, the Reading Emergency Unit as well as firefighters from Allen, Reading and Hillsdale Township.
