PARMA, MI (WTVB) – While the Coldwater Cardinals dropped both ends of a doubleheader by 2-1 scores to Parma Western on Friday, they got a big lift as Zach Rigot returned to the diamond after being hit in the head by a line drive while pitching in a game last month.
Rigot pitched six innings in the opener and drove in the Cardinals only run.
Brock Thornton had an RBI in the second game. The Panthers won both games in the last of the seventh.
