QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy High School students were out in the community on Friday performing a number of service projects as part of the annual Quincy Spring Fling Community Wide Service event.
Over 300 students took part as they worked in cool and cloudy conditions.
But after all of the soggy weather of the past week, at least things remained dry for them on Friday.
The students who volunteered were fed by Con Agra Foods, Shorts on the Water, Sunset Cove, Meijer and Wal Mart.
A community wide food drive was also held. All donations from local residents will benefit the Sonshine Food Pantry at Union Church.
