KINDERHOOK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police troopers are investigating the theft of a fishing boat and trailer which were taken from a field on Morningside Lane near Southern Road in Branch County’s Kinderhook Township where the items were stored during the winter.
Troopers say the boat is a white and red Monark 18 foot aluminum fishing boat with a hull number of MC1883TC. The trailer is a gray Monark Boat trailer with a Michigan license plate of C469151.
Meanwhile, troopers are also investigating a Breaking and Entering complaint at a vacant home on West Adams Road in Gilead Township.
The home was reported to be vacant and undergoing renovations. Tools, such as wrecking bars, hammers, and a sawz-all were taken.
