NILES, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school tennis Saturday, Bronson finished second at the Niles Brandywine Invitational.

The Coldwater Legg Middle School tennis team finished fourth out of five teams Saturday at the Sturgis Invitational. Winning one match each were Jillian Hawver, Eric Rucker, and Parkyr Jones at singles while Ella O’Grady won twice at number three singles.
The doubles pairs of Claire Hawver and Emma Madden, Gabby Bookmyer and Hunter Barnett, Sam Larr and Cam Shilling, and Josselyn Martinez and Evan Poradzis each had a victory as well.
Next action for the team is Tuesday when they host Three Rivers.
Boys Golf—
Quincy finished fourth at the Adrian tournament. Lawson Tell was the top finisher for Quincy and earned a medal as he was fifth.
Quincy Trap and Clay Target—
Quincy’s trap shooting team is in third place in their conference after the second week of competition. Top gun for Quincy was Hamilton Spieth with 46. Quincy’s top gun in skeet shooting was Wyatt Worden with a 41. The skeet team is in fifth place in their conference.
