COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater Planning Commission gave their approval Monday night for a six-unit development on over two acres of land that will be constructed next to the Meadowview Senior Apartment complex.
The site plan approval was recommended by the city staff. City Planner Dean Walrack said the stormwater retention plan provided more than adequate capacity.
Plans call for three duplexes at the corner of Farm Lane and Western Avenue, with two units in each duplex. Each unit would have three bedrooms.
Dennis Neitzka of Farm Lane Development LLC is the applicant.
The site plan was approved with contingencies covering soil erosion, sediment control, stormwater management, lighting and signs. The estimated cost of construction is just under $1 million.
