BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Police have suspects in custody who may have been involved in burglaries in the Gilead Lake and Pond Drive area near Bronson.
According to a release from the Bronson Police Department, early Sunday morning a suspicious vehicle was reported in the Gilead Lake area in which a subject was attempting to gain entry into a vehicle.
A short time later, the same vehicle and activity was reported on Pond Drive in Batavia Township. The vehicle was located and stopped a short time later by Bronson Police Officer Levi Allen in the City of Bronson, and turned over to troopers from the Michigan State Police.
Police say the subjects were found to be in possession of many items that likely do not belong to them, and they’re asking residents in the affected areas to check their belongings. If you’ve had items stolen during this time frame, you’re asked to make a report to the Michigan State Police via Central Dispatch at (517)278-3091.
