HILLSDALE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A vehicle containing three Quincy area residents was involved in a Hillsdale County crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of North Bunn and West Hallett Roads.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says 31-year-old Andrew David Douglas of Jackson was cited for disregarding a stop sign in the crash which took place at about 4:00 p.m..
They report the other driver, 51-year-old John Michael Mason of Quincy, tried to avoid hitting the Douglas vehicle but was unable to. Two others from the Quincy area were in Mason’s vehicle.
There was no mention in the news release issued by the Sheriff’s Department if there were any injuries, but deputies report everyone in the two vehicles was buckled in.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Hillsdale Rural Fire Department, the Reading Emergency Unit, and Hillsdale Towing.
