BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School track teams split with Harper Creek Monday. Harper Creek won the boys meet 100-61 while Coldwater won the girls meet 93-67.
Coldwater boys winners included Matt Gipple in the 100 and 200 meter runs and long jump, DeAndre Douglas in the pole vault. Dylan Targgart in the discus and shot put, Jose Blankenship in the 3200 meter run, and Kyle Foulk in the 800 meter run.
Coldwater girls winners were Chloe Schaale in the 100 and 200 meter runs, Elka Machan in the 800 and 1600 meter runs, Ella Budd in the discus, Claire Sheppard in the pole vault, and Claudia Rivera-Rodriguez in the long jump. Coldwater also won the 400 and 3200 meter relays.
The MHSAA Division Two Regionals for Coldwater will be held Friday at Mason High School.
