MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school golf, Coldwater finished sixth out of 12 teams Monday as Marshall hosted the Tom Reynolds Invitational.
The Cardinals were led by Kyle Herman who shot a 79 which was good for a tie for 10th place overall. Alec Keplinger shot an 80, Kyle Sheppard had an 87, Noah Waterbury carded an 89 and Grey Skudlarick rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 96.
Coldwater’s varsity will be playing in the Interstate 8 Conference Championship Thursday at the Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek.

Girls Soccer—
Quincy scored all of their goals in second half as they won at Michigan Center 3-1 on Monday night. Emily Hollenbaugh got Quincy on the board when she got a through ball from Madison Hinds in behind Michigan Centers defense. Heather Sarles added a goal off a cross from Hollenbaugh six minutes later. Michigan Center answered right back to make the score 2-1 but Kate Wilson scored off a corner kick from Hollenbaugh with eight minutes left in regulation to close out the scoring.
Hinds and Katie Rathbun shared goal keeping duties and together they made 15 saves in goal. Quincy will next play at Hanover-Horton Wednesday at 4:30 p.m..
