BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school golf, Coldwater finished sixth at the Interstate 8 Conference Championship at the Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek Thursday. Coldwater came away with a team score of 343. Marshall won the conference championship, with Parma Western coming in second.
Coldwater’s Alec Keplinger was named FirstTeam All Conference with a scoring average of 39.33 for the season. Keplinger posted an 81 on Thursday followed by Kyle Herman with an 85.
Kyle Sheppard shot an 88, Kai Kinsey had an 89, Noah Waterbury shot a 91 and Grey Skudlarick rounded out the scoring with a 96.
