JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Pittsford man was killed late Thursday night in a Hillsdale County head-on crash.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department identified the fatal victim as 59-year-old Jeffrey Lloyd Johnson.
They say the crash happened at about 10:50 p.m. on Hudson Road near Doty Road when the fatal victim’s car collided with a vehicle driving in the opposite direction by 36-year-old Joshua Michael Johnson of Hillsdale.
Joshua Johnson and a passenger, 37-year-old Starr Marie Sauer of Hillsdale, were taken to Hillsdale Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Jefferson Township Fire Department and the Reading Emergency Unit.
The accident is still under investigation.
