COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school soccer, Coldwater closed out the regular season Monday night with a 4-0 win at home over Hastings in the Interstate 8 Conference Silver Division Tournament.
Samantha Rodesiler had two first half goals and a second half assist, with other goals from Marissa Cox and Madison Klotz. Masyn Marsh and Allison Miller also had assists.
Coldwater outshot Hastings 20-1, with Emily Fagen making one save in goal to earn her fourth shutout of the season.
The Lady Cardinals open MHSSA district play Wednesday at Battle Creek Central at 6:00 p.m. Coldwater is 6-13-2 overall and finished 2-6-1 in the Interstate 8 Conference.
The Coldwater JV team closed out their season with a 2-2 tie against Hastings, with goals from Ezma Machan and Jenni Hernandez.
