COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was arrested on a charge of second degree criminal sexual conduct over the weekend following an investigation by Coldwater Police into an alleged incident December 30, 2018.
30-year-old Gary James McLaughlin was booked at the Branch County Jail Saturday after a warrant for his arrest was issued on May seventh.
According to court documents, the alleged victim in the case is a 14-year-old boy.
McLaughlin was released from jail after posting a $50,000 surety bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Branch County District court June 10, 2019.
