HANOVER, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school softball, Quincy routed Springport 13-2 to advance to the MHSAA Division Three District semifinals.
The Orioles established control early by scoring six runs in the first inning. Kelsey Mainstone was the winning pitcher as she struck out nine in five innings. Morgan Michael had three hits while Megan Kirt drove in three runs.
The Orioles will face Jonesville at 12 noon Saturday.
