DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – Detroit Pistons assistant general manager Sachin Gupta is reportedly leaving the team to take a position with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
According to the Detroit News, Gupta will become the executive vice president of basketball operations for Minnesota.
Gupta was in charge of analytics when he joined Detroit last year. He began his career with the Houston Rockets in 2006 and also worked the Philadelphia 76ers during their rebuild in 2013.
