ZEELAND, MI (WTVB) – Branch County schools will send 23 athletes to the Michigan High School Athletic Association Lower Peninsula Track and Field Finals Saturday.
Coldwater will be competing at the Division Two finals at Zeeland while Quincy, Union City and Bronson will be at the Division Three finals at Jenison. Quincy will have the largest Branch County contingent with 10 athletes.
Coldwater will send seven to the finals while Bronson and Union City will each have two finalists.
As part of an athletic share agreement with Litchfield Community Schools, Micah McDonald and Taylor Scovelli from Pansophia Academy will be running in the boys 800 relay for Litchfield at the Division Four Finals at Hudsonville.
