BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson City Council will have a different look to it following Monday’s meeting.
The City Council is scheduled to accept Mayor Alicia Cole’s resignation. She has been the Mayor of Bronson for over five years but has to step down because or her move outside of the city. Cole will still be living in the area.
She became Mayor in January 2014 when her father Tom Rissman passed away.
Rick Johannes is scheduled to be appointed as Cole’s replacement on the Council. He was one of two persons interviewed after they expressed an interest in serving.
A new Mayor and Vice Mayor are also scheduled to be appointed by the Council.
